Instructions are in Chinese, we did have to purchase: a second mounting bracket (used both), a few (screws, washers & nuts) to make it work. There is no dimmer, just 2 wires: tan & blue (blue wire= hot). At first we thought it would only hang vertical but individual segments are able to be adjusted for a more horizontal display (if only we could read Chinese this step could have been fast-tracked and skip the anxiety).
