I would definitely feel safe dropping it from normal handling heights. Some of the negative reviews state "cheap/flimsy plastic". The plastic has to be thin in order for the case to be so slim (which is why most anti-bulk phone users are buying this case in the first place I would think), and of course it would be flimsy in the way of bending because you have to be able to fit the bumper around your phone (it needs to be flexible). The hardcover for the back of the device seems sturdy enough though, so those writing negative reviews should perhaps extend their checkbook past $10. For the money, it's a great case. Doesn't add bulk, while still protecting your phone, not sure what more you could ask for. I was very excited but when I opened the package, I had received a case that was not as shown in the photos.In the photos it shows defined, box-like edges. The case I received is nothing like it. It has smooth, curvy edges. I do quite like the design (although I like the design in the pictures more) and functionality of the case. It fits well and seems sturdy, but I already have another case very similar to it, which I bought for $3. So, even though I like the case and will still use it, for lying and inaccurate photos, I am giving this a 1 star review :(I remember seeing another review that had the same problem as me and I got scared, but the order had already gone through and item shipped. I'm not sure if we were sent the wrong case or what, but that is definitely something that should be taken care of on their side. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent functionality at a good price. *by M***E on December 4, 2014* This is a simple, utilitarian case for the iPhone 6+. I have a special book type case on order, but needed a protective bumper case to cradle my new phone for now. This does the job perfectly and at a very reasonable price [$4.95]. It's softish black vinyl around the edges with a clear back, the phone snapped in easily but holds it snuggly. It's a perfect fit and the bumper around the edges provides protection, greatly reduces slippage and is raised around the front of the screen by just a little. This raised lip protects the screen from scratches when I lay my phone screen down. All the buttons and controls are accessible. There's a cut out for the camera lens so it's in no way obstructed.
