Lewis is one of the best authors ever, when it comes to common sense, powerful insights into the spiritual conditions of man, and the bottom line on God’s love for man. Plus, he has a tremendous sense of humor that informs us of our own fragile lives. I’ve read him for 5 decades and honestly, I just bought the package set again, because Lewis is one of the best writers I know and continues to help me get real with my thought life and my spiritual journey. For years I hoarded books, like the whole gamut of thought. It was like a map of my ever changing mind.
