Well packed, nothing damaged or missing, and the high quality was a pleasant surprise. After degreasing I mounted the L00 type adaptor plate on my Standard Modern lathe and prepared to take a light truing cut before mounting the chuck. The runout was so slight (under .0005") that I had to check to be sure the dial indicator was working. Nothing to improve on by taking a cut so I mounted the chuck. It fit perfectly, ran smooth, and the jaws are well machined. Chucking up a new 1" drill bit and checking with the indicator again showed near zero runout. This chuck is the most true of any I have used. I'm thrilled and the price was a fraction of what the big name places charge for one. I'll be ordering from CME again. I bought it, shipping was fast, and got it mounted on my Clausing lathe. I have to admit, I am very pleasantly surprised...so far so good. I've only used it for a few hours so far, but it's really nice for the money.
