Solid, shiny and appealing.The only problem I had is that the mounting thread for to the wall is too short. About 1/2 in too short. So this connector can't reach to the pipe. Unfortunately this item is so well made that I can't take it a part and put a different fitting on it to extend it and I don't want to rip in to my wall to bring the pipe forward so returning it. If you are starting with an existing rough-in, this elbow is not likely to fit. Though some people have said that you can replace the pipe nipple in this elbow with one that fits your rough-in, it's not really designed to do that. The elbow relies on a O-ring to seal the nipple in the body of the elbow.
