If you are sitting in the sweet spot these speakers will create an incredible home theatre experience where both music and movies will be dramatically enhanced. Vocals in particular are very clear and the upper bass frequencies are unbelievably tight and musical. Be sure to place tweeters at ear level. Center channel will likely require some woodworking as it will almost certainly be wider than your joists (did I mention crisp dialogue). You definitely need a sub. I am using 8 and 12 inch subs. These speakers are quite efficient and it is wiser to focus on quality of amplification rather than high wattage. These don't sound like in wall speakers and are outfitted with what sounds like a high-end tweeter assembly. I find myself watching concert videos and films like No Country For Old Men and Fury Road. These speakers sound insane with blu rays. The grills are spray paintable and the speakers can be mounted flush within your wall. No regrets on buying these.
