I am needing this imprint on a grad cake.** A: Hello. I love this stencil and it has never failed to deliver a great result. However, we have never used the stencil with anything other than royal icing or buttercream at the bakery. I think that the stencil may bleed if using spray because you would need it to really stick tightly to the cake to get those edges. And, if you are covering the cake with fondant it will most probably "sweat" the paint off. Sorry I can't be of more help! **Q: Is this stencil flexible enough to use on a round cake?** A: I used this on a round cake! The pattern went almost the whole way around the cake.I used this by placing on the white fondant overlay and then spreading the icing over the pattern. I actually bought the already made black buttercream in the craft store because I was afraid of the black icing seeping or bleeding into the white fondant. This worked perfect.
