They're ambrosial. The flesh is a dark, rich purple. It looks almost unnatural it's so beautiful. The taste is mildly sweet, with a subtle flavor palate. The texture is quite starchy, but if I'd baked them longer I envision them having been softer and squashier in their comportment. I highly recommend giving these a shot. I wanted a reminder of Hawaii, and I got it.
