So 1 amp passi g through the center hole will induce a current of 1 mliamp in the secondary. If you connect a 10 Ohm resistor across the secondary., you would get 10 .mllivolts across the resistor. 100 amps would produce 1 volt. A 1/4 watt resistor is big enough. **Q: Will these work with the shelly em? will it work in conjunction with shelly on p2 probes?** A: Yes, it will work because they both operate under the same principle for measuring current signals. It's just another brand of CT with a higher current rating. **Q: Are these unbranded identical to the Shelly CT's?** A: Are not the same. **Q: Details says internal resistance is 10ω, but my multimeter says 54ω when measuring between the ends. it accurately measures other ω. is this expected?** A: Not expected, it is detected in real time. Easy to clamp around the power lead wire. ### ⭐ Supposed to have a burden resistor, neither one did. *by W***S on November 21, 2023* Can't give it zero stars. I have two of these PZCT-02. It is marked indicating a 10 ohm burden resistor. I get 55 ohms across the leads. Clamping it around a cord powering a 100W 120V incandescent bulb I get nearly 6v. If you use the typical conditioning circuit for use with a arduino or esp32 you are likely going to smoke things. I bought these back in March of 2023 before I retired and just got around to trying them out.
