Use a small flat tip screwdriver, and pry the old light out at the small seam that will be towards the front of the vehicle when the door is open. Once the unit pops out, disconnect it from the wires, connect the supplied wires to the new unit, then the supplied wires to the door wires now hanging with no connection (connections are obvious and don't worry about which color goes where...universal), then press the unit back in place by slipping the end facing the car's rear in first, then applying force to push in the other end. Done!
