It has been my constant companion when repairing items large or small.In addition to driving/removing large bolts or long screws without stripping, after dialing down the speed, it works just as well for disassembling kids toys without damage. I have used it to remove rusted bolts or lug nuts from a car and then turned around and disassembled a string trimmer motor. With the proper bits, it is good for most anything that most people use a drill/driver for. I would recommend that you purchase longer impact driver bits for this, as the magnetic bit holders are not as good as a plan longer bit when space is limited.In all, I have been very pleased with this DeWalt impact driver and will continue to purchase their products in the future (just not their air compressors). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars DeWalt DCF895B Brushless Impact Driver *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2013* I've been around building and construction for over 40 years and by far this is the one single tool that just amazes me. It drives screws like cutting butter with a hot knife. I like to use screws when ever possible when doing rough in wood work. years ago I built a 2000 sq. ft. deck and used my battery operated drill for all of the screws in the deck. While that worked OK, when I tried one of these for the first time I was absolutely amazed how quick and, effortlessly the 3 1/2" deck screws when in. I used this tool to build a horse playground with two teter toters, a bridge, an octagon pedestal, rebuilt two large wooden wire reels for a squeeze game, etc. This tool worked flawlessly. I've driven 1/4" X 10 lag bolts with it and again just like cuttin' butter. I had the brushed one previously until one of the horses wanted to help and he mouthed the handle and chewed up the rubber. That one worked quite well also, but as soon as I saw this one come on the market I bought it. The batteries seem to last longer than with the brush version, but I don't think I would have bought it just to have two of these tools. I put the damaged one up for sale on Craigslist and it was gone the first day the ad was up. I may not have said that much about this tool, but if I were to ever start selling all of my tools, this one, the Bosch multitool and the DeWalt sliding Compound miter saw would be the last to go! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great. *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2016* The Amazon picture needs to be updated. The newer version of this tool comes with the XR comfort grip. Not a big deal, but the BL grip looks and feels better in my opinion.As many others have pointed out the inverted chuck and speed selector is what really sets this model apart. Since I've purchased this DeWalt has released the DCF887. The new version also has the speed selector and an additional 300 in/lbs of torture. The 887 has a quick release chuck but I've really grown fond of the inverted one on this version.This does come with a belt clip and bit holder if anybody was concerned about that being that it's a bare tool. Very well balanced, feel's great in the hand.
