Would this fit a smaller opening like 22wide and 55 long?** A: Yes the net comes with two suction cups. In Sweden we have a lot of boats from the 1970 - 1980th with opening like you describe. IN general they are too long but if you roll up one end it will be a perfect length. For the width it shouldn't be any problem. We sold about 2000 pcs of these nets in Sweden over a period of 7 years. /Per **Q: I thought i saw a waterline design kit for making a custom hatch net. i have a skylight hatch. the sizes you sell won't fit that.** A: Sorry we don’t have custom net kit. Only standard size. **Q: Does this work well on a 1989 Catalina 36 companionway?** A: Catalina boats often have wide opening in the companionway. What I can see in pictures the Catalina 36 have one of the wide companionways.
