It would be easy to not realize it was there and to through the box away. **Q: Does this Whoville playset Does this playset include the candy cane arch and the slide for Max?** A: It comes with the slide. The candy cane arch is cardboard (not the best choice they could have made for it) **Q: Does it come with the who figures shown on the box as well, or just Max and the Grinch?** A: The set came with The Grinch and Max only. Although I have yet to give it to her because it is for a Christmas gift, I still looked it over before sticking it away in my hiding place. It is pretty huge; much bigger than I had expected. I thought it would be about the size of the miniature My Little Pony sets, but am pleased that it is about 3 times bigger than those. You get all of the main, important characters so there is no need to purchase anything extra. It comes with a lot to do in the package and the little tree lights up. I know she will love this when she opens it on Christmas morning. She loves the Grinch and before this movie was released, Grinch products were scarce and hard-to-find. It would be easy to not realize it was there and to throw out the box. I tore into my sons Christmas gift and found it. Not visual to see but it was there and it is a complete set. The slide was in the side of box.
