The weights are made of solid metal 40mm,50mm or 60mm in Diameter and 5mm thick which provides a nice weight to apply to your pattern and fabric whilst allowing free movement should any adjustments need to be made. The printing is waterproof and of an excellent quality ink. All metals have a smooth finish. Using pattern weights will also protect your fabric scissors from being damaged if caught on a pin. Pattern weights help prevent this and save time.
