This one works great for my carrot juice. It keeps juice fresh for at least 3 days if not longer. It tastes and looks fresh after 3 days though, I haven’t had a reason to test for longer but get the feeling it would hold up if kept longer. Carrot juice generally stains everything but this container does not stain and comes clean even after days and the seals all can be removed to thoroughly clean. The vacuum pump is easy to use, I take a cup out at a time and reseal with just a few pumps. I love this container but only wish it came in larger sizes. It holds about 4 cups. It’s not working for me..** A: Make sure the yellow rubber tab / valve in the middle of the lid is seated down and sealed and make sure the lid seal around the edge of the lid is in full contact with the inside of the container and pushed all the way down then put the pump over the rubber tab on the lid and pump it to suck the air out. if it doesnt work then either the lid seals or tab or the pump itself may be defective. **Q: what kind of plastic does this use? That said, my primary complaint is that cleaning the lids to eliminate bacteria, stains, and whatever is sometimes impossible. If you purchase, don't expect to be able to clean completely.
