Usage Using the Plantronics unit my phone would hangup with warning (not a good thing when you are on a call), the Mitel headset is integrated with the Mitel 5340 and the usage is seamless. Call Quality The Mitel headset is as if not better than a traditional headset and after talking to others that I have calls with they never know that I am on a headset, the Plantronics always seemed to get some echo. Range The Mitel headset has incredible range, I can easily walk over 100 ft from my desk and not drop my call. This is large due to the DECT technology which is not impacted my things like cordless phones, wi-fi systems and microwaves.
