**Q: can you use the product on concrete without anchoring?**
A: Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

I would not recommend using the product without anchoring it. You could attempt to use L-brackets and wedge anchors to mount the post and planter box to the concrete, but it has not been tested for stability. You could also core drill a small hole through the concrete if you wanted to utilize the anchor.

**Q: Will a 20lb mailbox 21" long work?**
A: Hello, 

Thank you for reaching out.

We recommend a "medium sized" mailbox which usually falls between 8-10lbs. As such, I would not recommend a 20lb mailbox for our post.

**Q: is the bottom deep enough to put a big bag (or two) of sand in it + a planter? I want to keep it well anchored from wind and/or if a vehicle bumps it.**
A: Hello, thank you for your interest in our product. There is enough room, but you shouldn't need to place any sand to anchor the box. The planter box it attached to the post which in turn is anchored with a galvanized pipe into the ground. **Q: can mailbox be glue to base ?**
A: The mailbox is designed to connect together through friction (the pieces slide together with a very tight fit.  I imagine you could glue them, but you would run the risk of them cracking when they would expand or contrast, based on the heat or cold. You don’t need to glue them together.

Totally in love with this. I was a little upset when the mail man said my old mail box wasn’t up to standards so I decided to splurge and get this mail post.It’s incredibly easy to put together. Feels really durable too. Which is surprising because it’s so light weight.It comes with the screws and drill bit needed for its own installation, but you will need additional screws for attaching the actual mailbox. Another thing, is you’re going to need a wooden post, or something to hammer in the ground to make a spot for the steel rod. I was expecting it to be pointed but it is blunt and won’t go into the ground by itself. (I had a few stakes lying around I used.)Other than that, installation probably took me an hour. Only reason it took that long was because of my actual box being too big and I needed to cut wood to secure it.Overall I would 100% recommend this. Especially for gardeners.
