Occasionaly, I have a friend of mine film a couple of my flights, but most of the time I fly alone. I wanted more footage of my flying, but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a GoPro. So I started looking for a hat that had a harness for a phone and came across this head mount. Honestly, I didn't have much faith that it would work well, but I figured for the price, it was worth a shot.Mostly, I was afraid that it would not be pointed in the right direction during filming, but to my surprise, it worked rather well. It was maybe pointed 5 degrees too high but it captured most of the flight. In fact, it works better than having someone else in a way since a lot of time a person filming will lose sight of the aircraft because of the sun or the speed of the helicopter.It can take some getting use to and feel a little uncomfortable at first, but for a 4-5 minute flight, it is not that bad at all. I'm not sure how it will do for longer use, but it suits my needs pretty well.
