## Description

desertcart.com: Incubators for Hatching Eggs 12 Egg Digital Egg Incubator Precision Auto Temp Humidity Control 6 Gear Adjustable Auto Turner Auto Stop Turning Hatching Days Display for Chicken Duck Goose Eggs (Green) : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Review: Incubadora - It is quite large and features a system for turning the eggs; it works perfectly. I liked the product—it is of high quality.
Review: Set and forget (or at least for 5 days when the water gets low) - My old incubator only did 8 eggs. It required me to open it up and turn the eggs by hand at least twice a day. It also required me to fill up this little trap (that often leaked) and spray the eggs about 3 times every day. The last two eggs on every batch that I did, never hatched. I question whether the heat distribution was poor in that section and the reason why that happened. This product does 12 eggs, automatically humidifies with its own tiny motor, and also rotate its eggs for you. If the temperature or humidity get outside of its parameters, an annoying little alarm will go off to notify you that something is amiss. It is pretty much a set and forget until the water runs out. I suspect it could last 7 days, but I always end up filling it after 5 (but I am using the bottle that was included). If you used your own water bottle (that was large enough) you could probably go the entire 24 days (I let it go a few extra days just in case I have a straggler). The product is very quiet. Way quieter than my old cheap incubator. My fridge is definitely louder than this thing, and my microwave is probably louder as well. The motor for the humidifier is slightly louder than the device, and it sounds like weird insects, or maybe a group of frogs. The first time I heard it, I questioned what the heck was going on. I don’t know how well the Candler works, because I have Rhode Island reds, and their eggs are so dark that I’m never able to see if there’s something inside. Also, if I open up the lid for more than 30 seconds, I’m almost guaranteed to have the annoying alarm go off. The set up is pretty easy. You just take this tube that has these little attachments on it, and attach them inside the motor. Then you attach the longer hose to the attachment you just installed, and put the other end of the hose inside a container that has water in it. Then you are supposed to run it for 2 to 3 hours to make sure that it is the proper temperature and humidity before adding the eggs. When you add the eggs, the alarm is guaranteed to go off because it is impossible to put 12 eggs in there without the temperature dropping a little bit. I was not expecting the alarm to go off, so it did startle me a bit (I didn’t even know it had an alarm until that moment). The confusing part is setting the days. I thought I was setting what day it is in the process. For instance, I thought that setting day 1, meant today is when I started. It turns out that you were actually setting the product for how many days you want it to run, and then it automatically declares that now is day one. I had to reset it and change it a few times before I figured that out. So even though I am on day 12, it thinks it’s on day 9 because it took me a few days to finally get the thing to work properly. Overall, it requires a little bit of a learning curve to figure out the settings. The alarm is a little annoying, because it goes off too often, for two small of deviations. The device itself is so quiet you don’t even realize it’s there, until you hear the weird insect noises coming from the water motor. It is a lot less of a hassle than my old incubator that required me to monitor it constantly each day.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Needs more information
*by R***D on March 15, 2026*

So far it works well, some things to note though, the instructions don't actually tell you how to use it, nor do they really explain the settings. Im relying on my side research and messing with buttons to get it figured out. Also the candeling light is not strong enough for thicker eggshells from the farm birds I get my eggs from.
