Review: Lightweight, windproof, waterproof, and breathable - This jacket features an 8000mm waterproof coating, effectively resisting moderate to heavy rain. In a two-hour simulated rainfall test, no water penetration was observed on the fabric surface; water droplets quickly slid off upon contact, keeping the inner layer dry. This performance is attributed to the combination of its DWR water-repellent treatment and tightly woven softshell fabric, which effectively blocks rain while avoiding the stuffiness of traditional hardshell jackets. User reviews, such as "no worries at all when it suddenly rains" and "rainwater dries instantly," attest to its waterproof reliability. In strong winds during cycling or hiking, the jacket provides double protection through its high-density windproof fabric and elastic hem design. At wind speeds of 15km/h, there is no noticeable wind on the torso, while the addition of breathable mesh underarms and back ventilation effectively solves the problem of stuffiness during exercise. Users commonly mention that "wind doesn't get in while cycling, but sweat doesn't stick to the body," thanks to its microporous breathable membrane technology, which allows sweat to escape while maintaining wind resistance, keeping the wearer feeling dry. The entire jacket weighs only about 450 grams (size M) and can be easily tucked into the side pocket of a cycling backpack when folded. Its four-way stretch fabric and pre-molded elbows provide a sense of freedom when climbing or bending over.
Review: Quality soft shell jacket with some problematic design flaws. - Well, the thing about expectations: I wear a lot of functional jackets from various brands, including softshell jackets, and therefore think I'm perfectly qualified to write a subjective review. At the current pricing, I definitely expected better quality. Unfortunately, this expectation wasn't met, and the jacket simply can't compete with other brands. The price-performance ratio of this jacket just isn't right. But let's start from the beginning: The jacket arrived in a plain zip-top bag in the ordered size M. The size fits me quite well at 5'3" and 12 Stone, perhaps a touch too short. The jacket is quite well-made; I couldn't find any quality defects in the seams or fabric. However, the material and inner lining (a kind of fleece) isn't convincing and I plan to wear a dedicated fleece under the jacket itself. The softshell jacket is made of 94% polyester and 6% elastane. The outer fabric feels somewhat "stiff" and is significantly less flexible and supple than I'm used to from other softshell jackets. This is despite the fact that the jacket has a small amount of stretch thanks to the 6% elastane, and the material is also slightly elastic. This continues inside the jacket, where the fleece is also not pleasantly soft and fluffy, but rather has a certain stiffness and roughness. The jacket has several drawstrings for adjustment. While the ones at the collar are quite functional, the drawstring at the waist is inadequate. There's only one at the waist, whereas for proper adjustment, one on each side would be preferable. The drawstrings are poorly secured. They have to be threaded through small loops, but they don't stay in place. Without a knot, they're unusable. The jacket itself has two zippered outer pockets. There are no inner pockets. It also features a hood, which is not detachable, although this makes sense for a softshell or rain jacket. However, the cuffs on the sleeves are poorly designed. There's no Velcro closure to tighten them in wind, cold, or rain. The cuffs always remain completely open, even though there's an elastic band sewn into one side, which is completely useless due to the design. It's equally annoying that the softshell jacket doesn't have a hanging loop on the inside of the collar. In my opinion, that's a complete no-go at this price point. The manufacturer advertises it as waterproof and windproof. I exposed the jacket to a brief rain shower on my way to the supermarket. No moisture penetrated the fabric or the seams, and it definitely functioned as a windbreaker. However, the manufacturer provides absolutely no information about the water column rating or anything similar. There's no mention of it in the product description or on the jacket itself. The only information on the jacket is a plain white tag without any details. This should be standard information for functional clothing. Some of the great things about this Jacket I found were the clean workmanship with no visible seam or fabric defects. The Medium size I got the jacket in is a good fit for someone my size - 5'3" and roughly 12 stone. Windproof and apparently waterproof in everyday use - A short rain shower did not penetrate the fabric or seams Hood is present and well integrated and the drawstrings helped enclose my face from the elements. Some of the things I really didn't like about this jacket included the Unpleasant, stiff feel of the outer material and the rough and uncomfortable inner fleece. The weak drawstring system at the waist, practically unusable. and non-adjustable cuffs, functionally ineffective. No inner pockets is a shame, somewhere warm to keep my phone would be wonderful. No hanging loop at the collar - makes hanging it up to dry after getting soaking wet more difficult. No information on water column/water resistance, although, practically, the jacket did keep me dry In conclusion: I wasn't at all impressed with this jacket. While the workmanship is flawless, the functional details, the feel, and the comfort are lacking as such are unconvincing value for money. Furthermore, the manufacturer has failed to provide essential information, such as details on water resistance, for a softshell and rain jacket. At the current pricing I found the jacket is overpriced as a whole., you'd be better off choosing a different product or, for just a little more, a well-known brand.

### ⭐⭐ Review
*by V***2 on 16 December 2025*
