Very durable, very thick, very ouch. Be aware these have normal caps rather than the fliplock shields which prevent you from jabbing yourself during the disposal process. It is an effort of coordination to re-cap them and you will fail sometimes. These are best used for self-care by an adult who knows what they're doing and is trying to save a bit of money, by people who are using them to hook from one tube system into another, or by people who want to use them as disposable applicators for crafts (e.g. glue application.) Have mixed feelings about these needles. While they are incredibly small and extremely sharp and durable, I have issues with the injection. For soFor some reason the small size of the needles makes the disbursement of the injection more painful. It is not the pain from the needle being placed into the skin but rather the small size of the needle medication painful. On the upside, I did find these extremely easy to use and great in this situations where I accidentally bend a needle. With regular insulin needles, I would not be able to use the injection after bending the needle, but with these I am able to swap out the needle head which allows it to stay functional.
