Review: A great creative medium - This is a neat version of something that I've been utilizing for quite a while, but I never had the opportunity to use it in this fashion. ​Shrink paper is fantastic for so many applications that people may not realize—anything from detail in a junk journal to personalized jewelry to just crafts with your kids; you name it, shrink paper does it. It's super versatile and often not thought of as the craft medium that it is. ​One of my main issues with it has always been the need for the ability to draw on it. As much as I love using it, I'm not the best artist, and although sometimes I can use it as a bit of tracing paper, it's never exactly the same and you still have to figure out the color aspect of things. ​This solves the problem—I'M EXTRAORDINARILY GRATEFUL TO HAVE FOUND IT. This pack might be a little pricey given that it only contains six sheets, but I do feel as though this is a relatively new way of using this, and the pricing will likely get better as time goes on. It isn’t priced so unaffordably that I feel entirely deterred, as there are certain situations where nothing else will do now that I know it exists. ​The directions, while short, are very to the point. As long as you can tell the difference between the shiny side and the dull side—which, if you look at my pictures, you can see even through a phone—you'll know how to insert this paper and print on it. ​The instructions for heating it up and shrinking it are also involved, and the rest of it just requires your imagination! ​So to summarize, I do feel as though it's currently a little bit cost-prohibitive to use as a substitution for every possible shrink project, but it's extraordinarily effective and a really innovative tool that you should have around if you utilize this in your hobbies.

I have followed the limited instructions to the letter, and still seem to have trouble with these breaking. I'm not sure if it was the culprit, but it seemed like any point where I had to make a sharp corner to cut out a shape, it would inevitably be the point that would snap. The paper is rather thick and difficult to cut, making clean, rounded edges and precise cutting nearly impossible. Printing on the pages was easy enough. No streaking, smearing, or wiping off ink after the print job like some cheap papers have. These are definitely "kid craft" grade pages. I would never trust something of this quality for actual craftwork. Still, the kids had fun making some keychains and bookmarks for themselves, so I guess it was kind of worth it.
