We bought and tried five different brands. All were tested a half-dozen times (connecting the contacts with a moist finger) and all sounded each time, with this one among the loudest. Then all were gently placed in water deep enough to make them float. This was still sounding 24 hours later. BUT we could not open the case to replace the battery. It is supposed to be pried open, but the two halves were assembled very tightly and we couldn't get a screw driver or sharpened end putty knife in between to pry them apart. The sleek round shape is difficult to hold firmly when trying to do that. The pry device could easily slip and gouge the hand holding the alarm. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a funny doorbell *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2018* I have it on the normal ding ding noise. All the other noises sound like old flip phone ringtones. I thought it'd be different dinging noises but I guess since it's electric they took advantage of doing something different. It's decently loud.
