I also have hdmi to display port cables and hdmi to dvi cables connected and it works flawlessly. I have only connected 2 computers 2 monitors so far. Will connect the 3rd computer soon. If there are any problems I'll update the review. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this purchase.
Review: Ich habe mir den USB-3.0-Switch geholt, weil ich schlicht keine Lust mehr hatte, ständig USB-Stecker umzustecken. Zwei Rechner, ein Arbeitsplatz, eine Tastatur, eine Maus und ab und zu noch ein weiteres Gerät – genau dafür ist das Teil gemacht. Und genau das macht es auch. Der Umschalter ist angenehm unspektakulär. Metallgehäuse, kompakt, nichts klappert, nichts wirkt billig. Man merkt sofort, dass hier kein reines Plastikspielzeug auf dem Tisch liegt. Der Taster oben hat einen klaren Druckpunkt und schaltet zuverlässig zwischen den beiden angeschlossenen Rechnern um. Keine Doppelbelegungen, kein „Habe ich jetzt wirklich gedrückt?“ – einmal klicken, fertig. Die Umschaltung selbst funktioniert schnell und stabil. Tastatur und Maus werden sauber erkannt, auch nach mehrmaligem Hin und Her. Für genau diesen Zweck ist das Ding ideal. Wer mehrere Geräte anschließen will, hängt einfach einen kleinen USB-Hub dahinter – das funktioniert ebenfalls problemlos, auch wenn man beim Umschalten dann kurz merkt, dass sich die Geräte neu anmelden. Das ist normal und kein Fehler. Was man realistisch wissen sollte: Das ist kein Zauberkasten. Daueraktive Speichermedien wie externe Festplatten würde ich persönlich nicht ständig umschalten. Nicht weil das Gerät schlecht wäre, sondern weil USB dafür schlicht nicht gedacht ist. Für Eingabegeräte, Drucker, Scanner oder ähnliche Peripherie ist der Switch dagegen genau richtig. Die LEDs zeigen klar an, welcher Rechner gerade aktiv ist, ohne einen mit grellem Licht zu nerven. Strom zieht sich das Gerät in der Regel direkt über USB. Eine zusätzliche Stromversorgung ist vorhanden, aber in vielen Setups schlicht nicht nötig. Unterm Strich ist das so ein typisches Produkt, bei dem man sich nach ein paar Tagen fragt, warum man es nicht schon früher gekauft hat. Fantastic. Works better than my 2 computer 2 monitor switch. EDID works as expected. I also have hdmi to display port cables and hdmi to dvi cables connected and it works flawlessly. Ich habe mir den USB-3.0-Switch geholt, weil ich schlicht keine Lust mehr hatte, ständig USB-Stecker umzustecken.
