A great light for the money very well built. You can 5x more plus for other lights but with the low light response of the sensors you'll have no problem to cover any scene any where. I used an array of my cameras with them. From a Canon 7D and a modified 7D Pl mount to a RED ONE MX nikon Mt to my Sony F35. Never a any issues. **Q: How do you keep the diffuser plate from sliding down off the light?** A: In the upper and lower edges there is a part, in the center that can be extended and these tabs support the diffuser. **Q: How many batteries does it need to run?** A: Hi, this led lighting kit needs two batteries to run. One of the panels is defective. Beads not working and others are brighter than normal regardless of settings. I contacted Amazon product support and they are refusing to replace it. They claim my only option is to return the entire kit of three lights and all accessories for a refund. This is absurd since only the one light is defective. This is shattering my faith in Amazon. I supposedly even spoke to a member of the leadership team named Don. I showed him links to single panels from the same manufacturer and suggested even though they were a different color, they would be an acceptable replacement. He refused. This is not what I have come to expect from Amazon, and will definitely factor in my decision to buy local or direct rather than through Amazon in the future.UPDATE: I spoke directly to GVM the maker of these panels and they were fantastic! They shipped me a new panel right away to replace the defective one, and they followed up via email each day until it arrived. Not impressed at all with Amazon support, but over the top impressed with GVM.
