Review: Very clear sound amazing wide soundstage great home theater speakers - I got a pair of these about 6 months ago because I was building a surround sound home theater and waited a while before submitting this review. I wanted to help someone else make an informed decision so here it goes. My setup is Marantz 8805 processor with emotiva XPA 11 channel amplifier. These speakers are nothing short of amazing. They sound great the soundstage very wide and refined. These are a pleasure to listen to even at lower volumes. These tweeters do an amazing job with the high end and then ofcourse you get the 8” copper woofers which can get very low you feel the bass. The sound is great and I could not be happier. With time they broke in and sound even better than new. These are very easy to drive speakers so they can be driven even without an external amp. All you need is a decent receiver and you’re all set. If you’re thinking about upgrading your listening experience look no further just get these you won’t be sorry. In conclusion yes I would recommend these speakers if you have the space to put them. The only downside is that they are pretty big and very noticeable lol. I removed the grills because they’re much better looking without the grill. Not only they look great they also sound amazing for the price you won’t find anything even close to this quality. Hope this review helps someone.
Review: Wow - my setup: -Marantz PM8006 amp -Marantz ND8006 CD/streamer -Fluance RT85 Reference turntable -an old Polk PSW1111 sub that i pulled out of retirement when i set up this system for audio only. These replaced Klipsch RP-600M bookshelf speakers, which were good but i wasn't quite happy with. It turns out when i moved the 600's the last time, the plate on the back that you take out when hooking up bi-amp came loose and was causing interference on one of the speakers. But luckily i didn't discover that until these arrived and my wife and i had lugged them up two flights of stairs. Because i could not be happier. As others have said, these things are absolute beasts. Very big, and very very heavy. Which is what you want in a big speaker. They arrived in mint condition, very carefully boxed. I'm keeping the old Polk sub just because it adds a little punch at the low end, but i could live without it and probably won't bother upgrading. I am cranking (CRANKING) the SRV/Albert King sessions right now, but everything i've played through these sounds fantastic, from Rush to Billy Joel to Run The Jewels to Beethoven. With my setup, hooking them up bi-amp made a huge difference. Everything is so clean and the separation between the low and high end is just incredible. Granted I've been listening to nothing but compressed music streamed through cheap bluetooth speakers for the last ten years, but man oh man i'm so satisfied with this setup. Audiophile quality? i dunno maybe not quite that (or even what that really means) but for about $5k all in i couldn't be happier. I've had them running for about 20 hours now so they're still just getting broken in and i guess will only sound better over time. Very happy with this purchase.

A: Klipsch indicates that they are 98dB @ 2.83V / 1m.

**Q: is sending them overseas or internationally safe will they broke or something ?**
A: Mine were packed very well. Box inside another box. There's always a risk but I was impressed at how well they were packed.

**Q: are these stand alone speakers or do they require a subwoofer and center speaker to produce sound quality?**
A: run a yamaha tsr7850 reciever - 75 watts per channel into 4 each rp8000f hooked up with 4 each rp 600m bookshelf speakers, wired one 8000f to one rp600m in parallel, using the bi-wire feature , along with a rp 504 c center and a spl 150 klipsch sub .

i use the left and right front sur channels and the left and right front speaker channels and sub , mostly in stereo music mode.
my room is about 12x12, sound treated and used with a lg65" tv for home theater movies.
play for several hours at a time each day, everyday since february 2021. no problem with overheating, as i have a lasko standing fan cooling my amp all the time it is powered on.
works great, cheaper to but a $25.00 fan than another amp/reciever.
you MUST run it with the fan on at med speed and your amp stays cool all the time.

i run it at med to high volume for most of the time its on.

**Q: Why are there two sets of terminals On the back of the speakers?**
A: This is so you can "bi-wire" the terminals for better performance. You do not have to do this necessarily. There is a plate on each side (comes connected already) that connects the two positive and two negative terminals respectively. If you are not "bi-wiring" you just leave the plates on and connect one set of positive and negative like any other speaker. Hope this helps!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a deal!

Bought the 8000s for $1098/pr. from Sound Distributors May 2022 to replace a pair of RP-600Ms as front L/R. They arrived on time, double boxed and in perfect condition. First I listened to music via Bluetooth from my iPhone to my Denon AVR-4500 using Spotify. The Denon settings for 2-channel listening is as follows (Speakers set to large, SW mode LFE+Main, Crossover 40Hz). There was an immediate, stark contrast comparing the 600s to the 8000s. The 8000s present a taller and wider soundstage. Their center image is larger and easier to achieve (due to their smaller size I found the 600s shoot a smaller beam of sound from the tweeter and therefore require more exact placement to achieve a perfect center image). Given my space I have them set 8 feet apart and 14” from the front wall with slight toe in. If you already have speakers from the RP line then you will know the Klipsch tweeter provides crisp clear detailed sound. I don’t find it fatiguing but I like speakers on the more forward side (especially for movies). The only difference I could hear was the 8000s tweeter has a wider dispersion and is less “beam like” which helped when listening to movies in a 3.1 configuration as sounds coming from the left and right were less localized. I sit 8 feet away from the speakers and had no issues hearing voices/dialogue when watching movies in a 2.1 set up. Regarding mid-range, mid-bass and low bass there is no comparison. The 8000s best the 600s in every way. But given their size and crossover tuning they should be. Mid and low base is larger than I expected, tight and controlled. Those with more space will have an easier time regulating bass output from the 8000s. Next I added my Monolith 3x200watt amplifier into the line up. While listening to music the added power was most evident in the increased fullness and added control/articulation of the mid-range, and mid-bass/low bass. In my opinion the separate amp added an increased sense of scale to both music and movies, especially during low volume listening. Given their reported sensitivity I think the 8000s sounded great with the Denon alone. I think you can get 90% of the way to their full potential without an external amplifier. I will repeat what many have stated in the reviews - If you have the money and space buy the 8000s. They present music and movies with a level of detail and energy that is addicting. And given the small improvements speakers make year to year I foresee living with these speakers for a very long time, making the initial $1100 investment a bargain in the long run.
