With sun, result is a washed out picture that no matter what fiddling I do with the settings, does not improve. Additionally, low light performance is absolutely abismal - this camera is terrible for dusk let alone night time. A somewhat dimly lit room (barely able to read a book), renders entirely black with this camera. You can ONLY use it under well lit/controlled situations.
