I weigh 205lbs, so maybe this isn't better for bigger riders. I believe it's just out of warranty. I'll see how Williams handles it.Original review - I'm riding a Trek ALR road bike. It's an aluminum frame with carbon forks and aluminum seat post.. I've been getting a lot of miles in lately - and saddle soreness has been an issue. I wanted to try the Williams Iconic to see if it took some edge off the bike and increased comfort due to vibration dampening. I also wanted the seat back further as I have a long torso and arms. This seat post offered 20mm of setback vs the factory seat post which was 8mm of setback. I've gotten two hard 30 mile rides in on the new post and it's a dream - noticeably smoother, and less saddle soreness (using the same seat as before). Plus - it's crazy light weight. I put it on my scale and it said 185G. Also - the added setback was nice and gave me a better position. I decided to buy a torque wrench at my LBS for the install as suggested. The mechanics at the shop said it's a must - the cost of the torque wrench is cheaper than buying a new seat post/handlebars etc. -they have seen a lot of mistakes made.BTW - I'm a bigger guy at 214lbs, and this post seems to have no issue with that, despite it's insanely low weight. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far, so excellent! *by T***W on Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2014* Very cool seatpost. Looks to be very well made. Love the angle adjustment. It does mean that most of the tightening is done with the back screw. Because of the carbon, I initially didn't torque it down too tight. At the end of my ride, I found the seat had migrated its way back. I tightened the back screw even tighter so hopefully that will be all. The seatpost looks like a million bucks. Price is very competitive to others such as the FSA SL-K carbon post I was thinking about alternatively. Hopefully this seatpost will last. Make sure you get some friction gel for carbon and don't torque the seatpost clamp too tight! Tried a number but they creaked or didnt feel robust enough. This one is perfect - fits great, only modest torque required on the binder to hold it and the seat attachment is really robust and super easy to adjust.
