It was to a point where we couldn't sleep at night. The fact that they're rechargeable instead of buying expensive batteries is nice so no need to buy expensive batteries every few weeks. You can also adjust the sensitivity, vibration and shock level from none to high. We were able to lower the shock level to 0 and keep the vibrate function. Shock is very powerful so only use it if you need to. We have purchased quite a few of these over the past year and have gifted many more to our friends. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works *by M***F on October 30, 2018* Works well. Stopped the dog from barking all the time at everything. ### ⭐ If your dog is big on moving around, this isn't going to work well *by S***A on October 10, 2018* Got the collar because my dog -- although she doesn't bark when I'm home -- may be barking when I'm not at home. Put the sensitivity at 7 and kept the vibration level low to test things out. My dog shook her head at 7 and it beeped. We lowered the sensitivity and it only stopped vibrating at head shakes at 5. The problem? Then it WON'T register the barking! So, now my dog is confused. I was hoping the collar would reinforce commands to not bark. Instead, it's made my poor pup confused. All that said, the recharge option is amazing and the settings are super easy to use.
