Charged my iPhone 8+ at a normal speed without any apparent overheating. The lightning plug is inscribed with a white "ICESMART" and the USB plug is inscribed with a USB logo, as pictured, so be aware if you may care about that. I like the matte black fabric covering the wire; it looks rough and tough in the photo but seems almost silky to the touch. Hopefully it will last (I'll update if/when it breaks). I like the overall black color which is classic and matches many black chargers. It's loud enough to hear clearly from 30' away.The battery lasted well past the 4-5 hour time listed in the description.Syncing was easy. Just a press of the button and away you go.Some reviews mentioned that the speaker had a loud audio message when syncing. For some reason, the one I have doesn't do anything but blink when the connection is made. Not a complaint. I just wanted others to be aware that it didn't happen. (perhaps a recent update to the model?)The only thing that may be a bit weak is the mic.
