To my surprise it does indeed have close to the same speed as a connection with an Ethernet cable! The first 4 photos I've uploaded show how well packed the adapter is shipped as well as where I connected it in my desktop tower. The last 2 photos are a comparison of a wired connection and a wireless connection using the adapter. They are very close to one another! I am moving soon and I'm not sure if at the new place I will be able to have my desktop close to my router / modem setup so I will probably be using this adapter and I'm glad to see that I will not lose that much of the bandwidth. It just has one antenna and occasionally freezes and loses the connection. The antenna wasn't positioned very well off the back of the computer in the media cabinet so when I saw this one with 2 antennas that were separated out by a wire, I wanted to try it. It works great and so far I haven't had any more issues with losing the connection. I can position the antenna in an open space and it gives a lot more flexibility to position it for the best signal strength.
