Review: Worked perfectly for my application - I needed a way to add a bypass switch to my fuse box for my dome lights as my headlight switch in my vehicle doesn't operate where you can turn off your dome lights manually - guess they skipped that piece in the engineering phase!). I was able to use this in place of my fuse and hook up an inline fuse to a toggle switch and all is right in the world now!

**Q: Can you purchase just the ato/ato socket connector (in quantity) ?  price?**
A: Not that I know of. They are very useful for checking circuits.

**Q: Does it replace a fuse, or do you use it in a blank slot?  Also does it have a "fuse" link inside it?**
A: I use just for testing voltages, and current draw. That plug/package makes it very easy to hook up instruments and evaluate conditions of the circuit. There are no fuse able links inside. Just straight through connections to a 1/4" spade pin on the other side.. "Handy" and better than anything else.

**Q: Do you unplug the negative battery cable or leave the battery hooked up when testing the circuit?**
A: You can leave the battery connected, most fuses don't have power to them with the key off anyways.

**Q: Would this work in place of the fuse, if i ran wires from the fuse box and wired a new inline fuse after it for a fuel pump cutoff?**

These things are pretty neat, and a very convenient item to toss in your tool box. I purchased them to help identify a vampire power draw in my car. I didn't want to continue to unplug the vehicles battery with an amp meter in line. Newer cars have different types of electronics that will run in standby mode for a while and unplugging the battery will cause all sorts of different things to occur that could hinder my troubleshooting. With this I was able to quickly check each fuse for its draw and identified my culprit in minutes.
