We chose nosodes over traditional vaccination because they have similar efficacy without the possible extensive side effects. One of our children had an obvious reaction to the pertussin nosode by developing a fever and cough after the first dose, so we didn't finish giving him that. He was far too young to understand "placebo" or other nonsensical claims the cult of "science" people use to decry homeopathy.We've used numerous homeopathic remedies on ourselves and children over the years. Our holistic vet used biopuncture (which involves homeopathic substances injected into certain spots around an injury) to cure our elderly dog's torn ACL. It provided enough pain relief and support until the injury was healed enough for prolotherapy. Clearly, she knew nothing about placebos either. If it works on children and animals, that removes the bias of it can only have a placebo effect. It's a fascinating subject, and I'd recommend learning more about it to see it as a viable alternative to many conventional medications, not just vaccines. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Why is this not considered a valid option to mainstream medicine? *by A***6 on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2016* This should be required reading for every parent, health care provider & concerned citizen. It gives another option to traditional vaccines that are filled with questionable ingredients. I've always wondered why we have so many children suffering from chronic afflictions that were not even heard of in previous generations. This book explains much of that. Even though the terms "vaccination" and "immunization" are commonly used interchangeably I finally learned the true difference. More than just a description of HP, the authors clearly explain illness, immunology and it's grand design to educate the body for a lifetime. The authors obviously believe strongly in HP yet they do not condemn those who choose traditional vaccines or didn't have any other information and regret the decision now. They give a plan and multiple references to back up that plan. Even with a background in traditional medicine, I found this amazingly informative. I'm even more puzzled why this information is not common knowledge and spreading like wildfire. As the viruses and bacteria are constantly changing, why wouldn't our thought process change on how to protect people against them? There are many points in this book that would give even the staunchest vaccine advocate some level of hesitation when it comes to how vaccination is currently carried out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars THE BOOK I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR *by T***J on Reviewed in the United States on June 7, 2013* This is a really great book! I have been hearing little glimmerings of info about using homeopathy instead of vaccines to create immunity against disease, but could not find any comprehensive info on the subject. This book provides all the info I was hoping to find and more. There is a section on the protocol, and another section on the research and development of the protocol, and a third section with some basic info on a number of common diseases and the main remedies for each. Even though it is packed with valuable information, it is a small book and the writing is concise and to the point, so it is not difficult to read and understand.
