The consistency is a little bit watery and my skin soaks it right up, but it leaves such a pleasant tingly and cooling effect. I LOVE the way it smells, very pepperminty, I just wish the scent lasted a little bit longer. I apply this before going to work, and I feel like over my 30 minute commute I already can't smell it on my hands anymore. Overall, I love putting this on before bed because the cooling effect helps me fall asleep. I also love that the smell is straight PEPPERMINT and not a sweet mint or tea tree mix. I put them in the order of those that met my criteria (best on top), but frankly, none were healing – you put them on and they are gone. None really had that true peppermint scent that I wanted. So I will continue my quest.1. Deep Steep Foot Care Cream, Candy Mint – medium thickness and pepperminty (sort of like candy – not fresh mint)2. Bath & Body Works Twisted Peppermint Body Lotion 2014 – fairly runny, but has a nice peppermint smell (but not very strong)3. Peppermint & Eucalyptus Foot Cream With Menthol Too, By Diva Stuff – feels pretty light (whipped cream) and pepperminty (but has a hint of eucalyptus/menthol) – does have a bit of a cooling effect.4.
