The low noise fan and included heatsinks move enough air to avoid throttling during compiles, and the NVMe hat turns the little board into a zippy mini server. Fitment is tight but precise, ports line up, and the lid clears the M.2 without weird flex. Assembly takes a patient 15 minutes, tiny screws and standoffs demand a magnetized driver. Noise is present but library quiet, good for a desk or van build. Durability gets high marks, this thing feels like it could survive a gear bag tumble. Value is solid if you care about performance and storage speed, less so if you are running basic GPIO projects. Size is still backpack friendly and the all metal shell looks clean next to audio gear.
