Review: PE Control Systems - Took the PE Control Systems Exam Oct 2018 and passed. This book does have some errors. But, it is an ok study guide for the test. It did help me answer several questions on the real exam. A bit pricey, though, on a per useful question/solution basis. I feel this book should be more like $40.

Took the PE Control Systems Exam Oct 2018 and passed. This book does have some errors. But, it is an ok study guide for the test. It did help me answer several questions on the real exam. A bit pricey, though, on a per useful question/solution basis. I feel this book should be more like $40.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Good Comprehensive Resource, but Needs Index and Better Codes Section

I am using this to study for my PE exam along with an online class. The class relies heavily on this book, and despite there being a few typos it is a good work. My three complaints are that this should never have been published without an index, a listing of all the tables, and a decent codes section. There is no index so you have to know what general section of the book has what you are looking for and then dig for the information. This wastes so much time when I am doing practice questions, and after doing class lectures I want to spend as little time as possible hunting information down (studying for this test is taking up way too much of my free time and I want it to be over, ok?). There is also no index for the tables that often refer back to standards that should be included in the standards section of the book. The standards section as is only lists the standards and what is covered in them, which is useless when solving practice problems that ask deeper questions. Also, there are some questions that get you to a point and then tell you to go look up the rest of the answer in a table in another book. For the price, it should include these tables and not make me buy extra books that were published 30ish years ago.
