The frustration in keeping the ball on the putting line is so intense that it forces you to focus on aim, tempo and putting stoke. I use the advanced setting. My routine, now, is to keep trying to get the ball in the circle until I can do three in a row (and that is not easy!). One draw back is that it’s a little hard to put the ball back on the tee area with your putter (the ball slips and slides a little before finally resting properly). It can be a little boring too, but it’s purpose is to improve your stroke and aim, which it will, and not to “entertain” you.
