They are very light weight made from very soft aluminum and don't have much strength. If all you are doing is flipping patties, wings, or petite cuts they will probably work, but don't think you are going to grab a 6 pound brisket or a full rack of ribs and lift. Also these tongs don't have any teeth so if you are using a coarse dry rub or slippery sauce your meat will easily slip out of the grip. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great grip, lifts heavy tri-tip no problem! *by R***C on Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2018* Pretty nice set of BBQ tongs. I have been using them for a couple months now and they easily pick up and flip 2 to 3 lb tri-tips no problem. They are easy to clean and are built really well. It grips the steaks securely.
