## Description

The UNIBURR is a deburring tool bit that quickly repairs damaged bolts to thread nuts in place once more, saving you time and money. The UNIBURR simplifies the repair process, potentially fractionalizing repair time, as well as bypassing the need to replace expensive or hard to find hardware while keeping safety at a previously unattainable level. The difference when compared to hand filing, belt sanders and grinders. - This tool does not chatter. - This tool does not over heat the work piece. - This tool does not over heat or spark. - Threads are sheared off, not folded over as happens with a grinder. - This tool is the only external chamfer device that holds a patent for hand power drill use. - The difference between this tool and any other method is time saved. And time is money. Check out the UNIBURR PLUS model that lasts twice as long as this standard tool. This tool is perfect for automotive, industrial and aerospace applications. IMPORTANT - This tool bit is designed to be run at 0-600 RPMs (slow speed on hand drill) and so it is not able to be used with an impact drill which only runs at high speed.

Works great on the videos...In real life not so much

This looked like a great tool and I so wanted it work. I spent a little more for the 1819 version thinking it would better stand the test of time. None of the bolts/rods I've used it on have above Grade 2/Mild Steel. I probably have 20-25 uses and there are clearly spots where the cutting edge is completely dull. I have to roll the tool around just get it to cut. Needless to say I am quite disappointed with the tool. I gave it 2 stars as I have gotten some use out of it but expected its useful life to be much longer.

Doesn't work too bad, but this tool is even better

Have to cut a bolt off and still be able to attach a nut? I used to thread the nut, cut off the bolt, then restore the newly damaged threads somewhat by removing the nut. Doesn't work too bad, but this tool is even better. Doesn't take much pressure or time - just cut off the bolt, use a drill to gently deburr and champfer the tip and the nut goes back on without a problem. Get the heavy duty model if you have a LOT of this kind of work to do, otherwise this one is just fine. Just be aware that for bolts protruding from any kind of device, enough has to remain sticking out so this tool can fit over the end enough to do its thing.
