By the 4th-5th story I was smiling, a little later, you feel you can take nothing for granted.Tushar has a formidable imagination and uses it very skilfully to weave stories about say one single moment, to what seems like a potentially complex theme, to one of my favourites theories about the potentially fake lunar landing.You wouldn’t think this was Tushar’s debut given how confident and almost lazily self-assured his writing is. The thing I sort of missed is a more solid presence of women in the stories, except in a few like The Paying Guest.Now, what I am feeling haunted by is how Tushar has challenged our most basic assumptions, brought sharply to attention things we long ago stopped noticing & given consciousness to even say a drop of water.This is an impressive first book and I am really looking forward to more—especially novels.Neo Pachisia ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This book has left me with a beautiful hangover! The characters are so real *by A***S on Reviewed in India on 28 August 2015* I just finished reading Pandora's box!This book has left me with a beautiful hangover!The characters are so real, the narration is excellent that it makes it effortless for the readers to visualize, I could in fact see a video being played in front of my eyes as i read the book.There were times I wished i could be a part of the book and interact with the characters..Each story is from a different genre..There is realistic fiction, stories which make you fall in love, story which provides comic relief, story which inspires you, stories which change your perspective about people around you,stories which make you look at the world from a different angle, stories which rekindle some beautiful old memories..Each story is so unusual and ends on such an unpredictable note that it leaves an impact on the reader's mind which is gonna linger in the reader's mind forever..I am gonna fall short of compliments for this book even after writing a book of compliments smile emoticonThis is the best book I have read so far:)Thank you so much for such a magical,mysterious and thought provoking book!I am already waitingggg for your next book!!!!THIS IS GONNA BE A BESTSELLER :) ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good attempt, Inconsistent quality, swings between the good and the not so good. *by M***H on Reviewed in India on 12 October 2015* The stories are republished from Satanic Provocations in a brand new avataar, however this time the book is better designed and the font is easier on the eyes. Some of the stories show signs of brilliance, others are mediocre. More often than not, the author seems to be in a hurry to finish the stories, to get to the "twist", to get it over with. In some stories the characterization is detailed, unhurried; the plot development is smooth - these are clearly the topics/areas that the author is either comfortable with, or very familiar with, or both. For some of the stories however, the end is abrupt and not convincing enough. The rough edges in style and prose, are very much there, and maybe a second book will have more finesse.
