One of the pins for the height adjustment gave us problems right away - it seems to be a soft plastic that isn’t strong enough to turn the metal bolt that it covers and the part was stripped after one or two height adjustments. The bar has given them slivers and the frame doesn't line up well which makes it hard to raise and lower. I contacted the seller on replacement parts with no results. I didn't want to have to send the whole thing back for a few bad pieces. **Q: Is the item good for a 10 year old girl** A: I would say yes the beam is good for any age and so is the mat. The bar extends pretty high. I bought this for my daughter who is nine and she loves it. We are thinking we might need to use something to weight it down a little more when she is doing bigger stunts on the bar but so far it hasn't tipped. The only negative I have is that the bar itself when is not very good quality the wood is splintering but we are talking to the vendor to see if they will send us a new on and the bar is also very hard to adjust because it's not lining up correctly due to another part that we are also seeing if the seller will replace. I could not find any assembly instructions for the beam and there were no starter holes for the feet. Had to look at the photo and estimate the location, about 8" from the ends.
