    Delicious- but no longer OU kosher

Just a note to kosher consumers, this is no longer OU. I've ordered numerous times and enjoyed this cheese. Most recent order on 9/12/19 the label now has a tablet k instead.

Tastes great.  I've been eating Chavrie goat cheese for years now.  It is amazing eaten plain.  I do cook with it as well, but use it sparingly if you're cooking with seafood and pasta.  I made shrimp with this cheese and the cheese flavor was too strong.  Oddly enough, eaten plain is phenomenal.  Anyway, if you're going to use it on chicken, may I suggest using Chavrie's honey goat cheese one.... they are all great but certain ones go better with certain things!

A solid goat cheese for inclusion in any recipe that calls for it.  It works on its own, for snacking, but I find the goaty aspects of the cheese to be a bit too pronounced for that purpose (although perfectly suited when it's an ingredient in other dishes, as the flavor can shine through).  Worked fantastic in mashed sweet potatoes.If you're looking for something to put on crackers / croutons, try Vermont Creamery.
