However as somebody with a doctorate in a related profession, I can tell you that this inorganic salt will not change composition (degrade) with time. It is hygroscopic (attracts water) like kitchen salt (sodium chloride) and it could clump up a bit over time. This is not the case with the bottle I have. You can buy this product with confidence that it will not change over time. I have no idea of the product purity etc, except what I can see on the label. **Q: Is it mixed with any other ingredients or is it pure potassium only?** A: These answers below are from 10 years ago.
