I watched videos on Youtube and decided it was a good solution. My experience was as follows. To split the existing fob is difficult bearing in mind you want to re-use the circuit board. It is well glued together so much care is needed. It will part eventually with force. The next and most difficult operation is removing the transponder chip. It is in the top right corner and has a cover over it. Cover comes off easily. Getting the chip out is almost impossible as it is glued in (almost welded). I had to literally hacksaw around the chip and then trim off the excess plastic with a stanley knife. I knocked out the pin holding the key blade and inserted the old ready cut blade. It had to be adjusted slightly with a file as it was a tight fit in the cam block and the groove had to be extended to get the pin back in. Putting it all together was easy and it works perfectly. Have patience and take your time and it will work.
