If yes, how long?** A: Yes but the time would depend on how bright a day it is. It would be slow, probably 15 to 20 minutes. Too many variables. A UV lamp is predictable and only 1 minute. **Q: Do you have to use an inkjet printer, or can you use a laser print?** A: The sheets are intended for ink jet, they would most likely melt on the fuser drum in a laser printer. **Q: Once you’ve added your design to a screen is it reusable? If so, how long do they last?** A: Once you burn a design into the screen it will be reusable for a long time. It will need to washed in between uses to be reused. It will not last forever, it will eventually get where it won’t lay flat anymore when dried and the emulsion will start to crack and chip and not give a crisp pattern anymore. That will take awhile. These screens work very nice. **Q: When I’m washing my design, all the emulsion ends up running off the paper, what am I doing wrong?** A: When a complete wash out occurs, it may be one of the two things. First, the sensitizer was not properly mixed or dissolved into the emulsion. Secondly, you may not have exposed your screen for the proper amount of time. Please ensure that all of the sensitizer has been dissolved. You may go back and add a few drops of water into the sensitizer container to remove the remaining sensitizer and add to the emulsion. You should refer to the exposure chart included in the kit purchased and or visit our website to view. Please ensure that you are using the suggested light source and spacing as this will give you the best results. If you have changed any aspect of the recommended exposure set up, you will need to conduct your own test to determine the appropriate exposure time for your setup. Hope this is helpful! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Wont purchase again *by on Reviewed in Australia 22 September 2025* Unfortunately a massive waste of money ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost gave up! *by on Reviewed in the United States 12 October 2023* Ok, just thought I'd leave a quick review (as I always rely on reviews before purchases.) I went through 3 screens and almost gave away the extra pack I bought. I tried one more time and doubled the exposure time (using speedball light included in kit) and it finally worked washed clean like a dream, 2 mins tops. 1st screen I screwed up because black paper shifted and wasn't fully under my design so part didn't burn all the way. 2nd screen I stopped rinsing too soon because it looked clear but wasn't clear enough but it had been like 5+ mins so didn't clear enough for paint to pass through. 3rd, I still did the recommended 1 min. but rinsed for like 10 mins and my design started to wash in places it wasn't supposed to and design got "soggy" looking because all the emulsion wasn't washing away. 4th and final time, 2 min exposure, washed off easily & quickly. My design was also a little detailed (distressing) and none of the small pieces washed away!!!! Hope this helps someone not have the same issues I had and save $ and frustration!! ### ⭐ Deceptive and false advertising *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 September 2026* DO NOT BUY : Deceptive and false advertising..it only contains 3 screen but clearly states : CONTENTS Speed Screens Kit includes 8×10 Wood Frame, 30W LED Lamp, 4oz Fabric Screen Printing Ink Black, and Craft Stick, White Cord, Red Baron Squeegee and 3 Speed Screens, Sheet of Black Paper, 3 Transparency Sheets and User Guide/Instructions ## Frequently Bought Together - Speedball Speed Screens for T-Shirt Printmaking - Speedball 4504W Fabric Screenprinting Ink Set - Speedball Fabric Screen Printing Ink, 8-Ounce, White for T-Shirt and Silkscreen Printmaking --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/770845654-speed-screens-10-inch-x-12-inch-3-pack](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/770845654-speed-screens-10-inch-x-12-inch-3-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
