Review: Works! - It works. I had sparrows that were too small for the bird spikes to be effective and they were pooping in certain spots where they were constantly landing. Applied a modest amount in those spots and they’re gone! I was sure not to spread too thick as other reviews said small birds get stuck if it’s too thick. Some reviews say it’s hard to use and too sticky/messy etc so I planned for this. Instead of applying with a caulking gun, I squeezed some onto a disposable plate. I then wore gloves and used a disposable knife to spread it on like honey. Then three everything out at the end, no mess! I can see that I’ll have to reapply soon - after a couple months the goo has collected a fair bit of dust so soon it will be ineffective no doubt.

I live in a high rise condo with a balcony. I've lived in relative peace with the pigeons in town. Unfortunately, this spring, they've finally decided to mark my balcony as a target. They come, they poop, and they make a mess. I've tried a couple of non-invasive deterrents to scare them off. None of them worked. The owl statue didn't fool them. And my shiny reflectors also did little, because my balcony is in the shade 90% of the time. This adhesive gel was my third option. I applied it to the railing and the edge of my balcony where I noticed the pigeons like to hang out. My balcony is about 20 feet wide. The whole process took 30 minutes with a chalk gun, and probably used up 1.5 tubes. It worked flawlessly. I haven't had a pigeon since applying this product. And I know it works because there are spots with a couple of feathers stuck on the glue. So a pigeon must have landed, got upset, and left in a hurry. It's cheap, silent, and durable. It's already gone through a couple of rainstorms without washing away, and I believe it when they say it'll last for 6 months. I'm extremely happy with the results, but there are a couple of problems/potential issues that I've noticed: 1. My balcony is small. Application was easy. If you had to apply this to a large balcony or patio, it could be aggravating, especially if you have back or wrist issues. 2. I don't go out on my balcony much. I don't mind having glue on certain areas. If you, your family, or your pet goes out on your balcony a lot, then this glue can be an issue. 3. The glue does attract flies and insects. I'm probably going to have to go out at some point to pluck them off, just for aesthetic reasons. I'm still extremely happy with this product. But I can easily see how it wouldn't work for some people.
