I got it today and installed it right away. It took me less than 15 minutes to install - super easy! It didn’t come with any screws, but I just used the ones from my old nest plate. Just thought I would mention that in case someone didn’t have screws on hand. This product is definitely better than the plate that comes with the nest. It looks great with my stainless steel Nest 3rd Gen. I bought the matte, after much contemplation. It attached right onto the Nest mounting plate perfectly. If I was getting picky they only thing I would say is that there is nothing to hold the actual nest unit in alignment (and use the built in bubble level) with the back plate as there was with the original plastic plate.
