The easy diy repair saved me tons of money and hassle because I didn't have to hire a repairman. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to remove and replace *by J***N on November 18, 2022* Original cold control caused the freezer to run constantly getting it down to -20. When my ice cream became brittle I decided it was time to investigate. Removed back panel, no ice build up but water frozen on freezer floor, water frozen in drain hole. Tested defrost thermostat as open at room temp and closed at 0 degrees, which is close enough. I was going to test the thermister but didn't want to dig out the specs so I took the repair suggestion and ordered a new control board. It took about 2 seconds to remove the old one with only the tips of my fingers and 3.5 seconds to plug new one in. After 1 hour temp was 0, then 3 hours later it was still zero. Original had 2 bulging capacitors which could have been the problem 35V 20uf. We recently had a flickering 2 hour power outage that may have led to this failure. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saved our freezer *by A***R on March 30, 2024* A storm caused our power to flicker then got out. It ruined this switch. We ordered and got it the next day.
