### ⭐⭐⭐

Really well made for the money but plan on doing some set up work.

The guitar is well made and has decent electronics and hardware. It will last a long time. However it came really poorly set up. The people who build them don't bother to do any QC? This is no big deal because I live near an outstanding luthier and always have my guitars or basses set up soon after I get them. The exception being a G&L bass that was perfect out of the store. The worst thing is 2 frets had moved higher while the glue dried. That cost about 40 bucks more for the set up.It plays as well as any guitar I've owned now. It works well B to B. But, in my opinion, if you want to go B to B, you are better off with a 27.7. I plan to go C to C so it is no issue to me.

My First Experience with a Baritone

*by H***O on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2016*

Received this guitar last week and was impressed with the flat black finish out of the box. Have to adjust the truss rod as I've got some serious fret buzz on the first three strings on the length of the neck. A couple little allen wrenches were included for the adjustments and I'm going to tackle that this week, which will hopefully clear up the significant fret buzz. Really impressed with the low tuning you can get on this thing. It's my first baritone guitar and I wasn't sure what to expect. The next is definitely longer than every other standard electric and acoustic I've owned, but not so long that it feels uncomfortable or hard to play. Just takes a little getting used to. Also, the frets are extra-jumbo, making the spread on the top of the neck longer than I'm used to. Again, that's just an adjustment, nothing so crazy that I'm turned off by it.Plugged in, this thing sounds great with or without distortion. Of course, with the EMG pickups in this thing, it's built for metal madness and definitely delivers in that regard. You can pretty much dial in super-heavy and super-evil at those low tunings and the distortion is pretty killer. Tone and volume knobs are all smooth and roll well. Toggle is on the upper left bout, which keeps you from accidentally changing it while playing. The tension in the toggle switch is a little on the light side and takes almost no pressure to change positions, which I'm not crazy about, so I'm glad it's mounted out of the way. My only other small gripe is that it didn't come with even a soft case. The standard price for this dude is $750 (don't pay that though), which is well within the ream of padded soft-case, especially since this guitar won't fit in most standard guitar cases.

    Garbage.

Paint runs. Crooked tuners and made of firewood.
