Unfortunately the color is only superficial and not deep. Once the case rubs on other surfaces for just a little while, the off white color shows thru. I had the case for approx 2 months and it started to show the base color already. I might try the silver style... My wife has that color and it's nor as prone to showing the color wear. We'll see.... The power button and volume down are tooooo close! If you press both simultaneously you get a screen shot. I have tons of unintentional screen shots.
